1919, courageous men have given their blood, sweat and

In
1994, the USHL (United States Hockey League) gained a
new franchise when the Green Bay Gamblers were born.
The 2003-04 season will forever be remembered as the
year of the fan, as the Gamblers drew over 100,000 fans
for the first time in the clubs 10-year history. |

The
Green Bay Blizzard Arena Football started off the 2005
season with a last-second preseason win against longtime
foes the Quad City Steamwheelers. The 48-47 victory also
marked the first W as a head coach for new
Blizzard leader Bob Landsee. |

The
Green Bay Bullfrog's, a semi-pro baseball team competing
in the Northeastern Baseball League, play at Joannes
Stadium from May through August. The Bullfrog's will
host the second annual All-Star Game on July 8th. The
Home Run Derby will precede the game and a number of
other festivities are currently in the works. |

45 minutes from Green Bay, Appleton, WI has been home
to professional baseball since 1891. A lot has changed
since then, however, more than 100 years later one thing
has remained the same. Appleton still offers lifetime
